BODY KIT AGE REDUCTION
Those of us lucky enough to own a Porsche 911 or similar performance vehicle will already have an outstanding car. But, even for such well-sorted machinery, there are improvements which can be made to enhance both looks and performance. Going even further, we can help you modernise the look of your car by replacing some key body panels with the components used in later cars. At Cool It this is done properly, as you would expect, using precision engineering and our legendary attention to detail.
This careful process can therefore allow you to facelift an older car so that it appears much younger, just as we have done with the 1999 996 C4 shown in the series of “before and after” photographs here, fitting it with a full body kit upgrade to 2004 GT3 specification. This technique is often combined with a personal number plate to keep your friends guessing!
The C4 came to us originally because the owner saw a pre-owned GT3 bumper for sale on our spare parts section on this website. His journey from Manchester was not wasted; eventually we sourced and fitted:
- new wheels and tyres
- side skirts
- front wings
- Litronic headlights and trays
- modified headlight looms
- front bumper/spoiler/air intakes
- rear bumper and heat shield
- exhaust pipe outlets
- rear boot lid
eventually creating the stunning 2004 GT3-styled car you see here.
